About the Chef

  Zach Gorham has been in the food service industry for 20 years. Having never gone to school for Culinary Arts, he worked his way up through the ranks of the kitchen starting as a dishwasher and then prep cook.  He soon found he loved working with food.  His career hit a plateau at line cook, as most managers want to see a degree. At the Lord Jeffery Inn in Amherst, MA the chef saw his potential and gave him a chance as the Banquet Chef, where he learned to carve fruit sculpture and prepare most meals from scratch. He quickly worked his way up to Sous Chef and spent three years as second in command of a hotel kitchen which  served two restaurants with a banquet capacity of 350.  After that he went to work at Bread Euphoria, a small locally owned bakery (Williamsburg, MA) where he had the freedom to create his own menu. His next move is to open and run The Tavern on the Green Restaurant at the Worthington Golf Club. He hopes to see you there!

            Eggs Euphoria: two poached eggs served on English muffins with grilled asparagus topped by a roasted tomato hollandaise and home-fries.
